ELC is making a Dubow!

Yes a caramel RW 16159 would be a great jacket for ELC to sell, but it is similar to their 1410-P,whilst the nearest thing to their new dark seal Dubow is their 50 Cal A-2. So from a commercial viewpoint there would be more demand for the Dubow.

Hey Pilot. Word on the street is your posting privileges have been revoked until you upload your fit pics of your BK. :D

Guys, not jacket-bashing, perhaps its just me... but ELC's pocket flaps look a bit 'Cockpitty' to me... Similar to their 'Slender' model...
Anyway, I like it... will get a good look at Legends.

Thought thought exactly same about the pocket flaps, way too accentuated and I think pockets themselves maybe too large but don't look so with comparison pic. Jacket is nice but again, would I wear such a highly painted jacket? There is clearly a market but to the person 'on the street' that might appear a bit Avirex/Cockpity as you say but at a much inflated price!!

I can’t believe they went for a Talon equipped jacket. ELC are one of the few who can realistically do a Crown equipped Dubow repro in volume and they went for Talon. Very perplexing.

ELC seem to only customise length of sleeves and body. When I ordered my Werber, I dropped a size from 40 to 38 to achieve the chest size I required and increased the sleeves by the maximum amount which was 4 cms. The shoulder size was a bit iffy being a little tight at 17.5 but with the aid of a sweater and much arm folding while zipped it has now stretched to 18 my preferred shoulder size.

if your interested just ask for the measurements of your normal size jacket and then go from there

I can. This last contract Dubows originally only had Talon M-42 and M-43 zips. Crowns were not used on this contract.

I can’t seem to find the Dubow on either the Elite page or the original maker page of the ELC Website. Has something happened.

Lots of Roughwears! What’s the obsession with Roughwears?! Anything but a Roughwear A-2!

Agree, the ELC RW models (all of them, fabric and leather) are OK...but not all of them are the best available....but still OK. Best IMHE are their fleece RW´s.

Agree with he above.
Also, if you want a Dubow... Heck, can't beat Platon's offering! Even a BK is £400 cheaper than an ELC, and depending who you talk too, a fantastic jacket.
But you already know all this ;)
I saw ELC's Dubow in person and it looked gorgeous in its Timeworn patch & paint dress-up... But those pocket flaps... mmmmmm
