New Aero B-10

Mine arrived today!! Can't find the words yet to say how impressed I am yet?! At least as good as the Buzz versions I've tried on in my opinion and while maybe not as accurate as the Eastman in exact terms, a similar build quality. Much better than either of the Pike Brothers 'B' jackets and totally different to anything cheaper than those.

Green is much lighter than pictures showed, collar is very well cut, knits fit perfectly. All the customisations I wanted there, but is still very much based in reality in terms of cut and design. The Jacket was never promoted as an exact copy of a particular model anyway.

If I have one criticism of Aero, it's their photography not being as good as say Eastman's. Doesn't need to be as, er... 'flash'... either? JC does a pretty good job of accurately representing things on his website. As I already knew from seeing Aero's work in person the photography doesn't do the work justice. On the subject of photography will try to get some fit picks done in the next few days!

In fairness to our photographer it's the website limitations than let the pics down, we are 85%/90% finished a "modern" website, hopefully weill go live by July, the photos on the new site are brilliant, high definition, large blow up facility

I'm a 42" Chest, maybe slightly short arms for my height at 5'9", 34W and 83Kg/ just over 13 stone. I'm hoping to drop a few kilos/ lbs over the next few months but my chest size has never really changed that much so should hopefully fit well for winter?

Dark brown collar and seal knits. Shell is a richer olive than any of my shots show, but is nowhere near as dark as this picture

or this one

As you can see I'm no David Bailey, might ask the missus to take a pic to try to capture the colours better? After she's stopped laughing at my reasons for wanting such a shot she might be willing to? Or she might just keep taking the piss...

But I am well happy with this. It was amazing value for money, if these come in anywhere near the price if they go into production it'll still be the best value repro made in Europe. If it was made as a more exact repro, it could really take on the Buzz and Eastman offerings?

Very impressed for a jacket that was made up as a side project, should think the production versions will be even better!

An impressive 1st attempt to say the least. I see this jacket improving as subsequent generations are released ( not that this one isn’t top shelf) . Kudos to Aero for moving into the cloth lineup with a home run first time up to bat. ( That’s baseball terminolgy . If I knew anything about Cricket I would have used one of those)
