Was watching Earth vs. the Flying Saucers last night and in the final scenes the main actor was wearing an A-2. Just thought I'd post for fun and giggles. LOL! unfortunately I couldn't get high resolution grabs.

I'm a tad unsure if this is an actual issue jacket.
Couple of shots are in mirror image (No critisism of Edward)
The top stitch on the RH front is very wide. From memory I think one of the more obscure contracts might have had this wide top stitch?
Can anyone see a collar stud? I can't, nor can I see the impression of one on either collar point

This may be a civilian A-2 type jacket or a costume dept. jacket. I don't see a windflap on the jacket.

You are bang on, at first viewing I though some of the shots had been flipped but, double check the shirt buttons, they are all the right way so, no flipping, so no windflap, therefore not an A-2. 5th pic down proves the point
