Hey Pilot, According to Gary Eastman's Book this jacket you're querying as seen in DD's Facebook link above is the latter of the 2 Bronco contracts, this one being contract W33-038ac 1761, made in 1943. The book stipulates that the large dome capped eyelets used on the collar stud are not cloth covered. Whereas their previous contract of 18th May 1942 w535ac 29191 42-19172P appears to have them cloth covered as in Goodwears example in the link below

Thx, maybe just me , newer saw one...

Pilot,

I’m sure you know far more about it than JC does, perhaps you should email him and let him know he made this one “incorrectly”

Dubow 1755

Crappy fit pics may follow.

Update: thanks to my wife here are two fit pics.
The jacket is about 2-3 years old (don't really remember) and is being worn regularly in all types of weather and all kinds of "missions".

Thanks, looks good, not crappy at all. Did you go for your normal size? Does it feel tight or restrictive in any way (lifting arms etc)?
Thanks again...

The Dubow 1755 is my favorite contract. The combination of the dark seal and purple knits looks great.
The fit looks good on you.

Fit and jacket look sensational Earl. Is that Liberty? Different colour from the swatches listed here? Your looks similar to my ANJ3 in Victory dark seal

Pilot, Gary Eastman had an original 2nd contract Bronco as I said listed in his book and the photo clearly shows a internal collar stud in natural metal finish not cloth covered as the earlier contracts were

Recently received the latest Liberty leather samples from BK. Looking really good. I am sold on the Seal... Love that neutral mid brown colour! The russet is very nice also (A Werber in the russet would be beautiful). These samples match the ones I have from late last year, so... pretty consistent.
