Sheepskin preservation

Hi Simon............. The price range on these units is all over the map. I would suggest doing a Google search. Tons of information there as to the diversity of uses and costs. Ozone is also very effective in destroying odors such as from pets, cigarette smoke, cooking, etc. The only thing it has not yet been proven to combat is attitude problems.
The one my brother in law owns is a commercial grade machine so I expect somewhat pricey, but for the limited use you will give it, a less expensive one should suffice. Good luck with resolving your problem.
OK Cheers:)

First thing to do is put both jackets and every woollen through the deep freeze in a bin bag for 48 hours.
This will not only kill any bugs but will also destroy any lurking eggs.
Won't hurt the family or the Highwayman either
If you've got anything dear to you that's so far uninfested I'd store it in an air tight bag after defrosting until the house gets an all clear

Thanks Ken
lookalike I need to go out and buy. very large freezer! (there's no way I could get my jackets in our current one)

We keep a deep freezer in the basement at Aero to freeze any incoming vintage that has even a hint of wildlife about it.
Anyone with a collection of vintage clothing or who buys regularly on ebay, vintage shops, might consider investing in a second hand chest freezer and stick it in the back of the garage, there are a couple on Gumtree right now for £40 a piece. Two or three nips in an otherwise good Irvin would drop it's value by a lot more than that.
