Hi all, I though I'd share a couple of pics of these boots which arrived with me from Japan a couple of weeks ago. I've wanted a apir for ages and now I've got them!

In the pics they've had a coat of neutral polish and a wear.

I love these and they look great with 33, 37 and 44 LVC and B-10 or D-1. Expensive but worth every penny, IMHO.

Fantastic boots, Stanier .... and I guess, by now, you have the sizing down. :)

So are they a half size smaller? I have the officer service shoes in a 10, but I'm picking that in these boots, 9.5 would be perfect for me.

Hi Deeb7,

Yes I think I understand sizing now, and half a size down on US size (for boots) is spot on, and for those in the UK, the Officer shoes are a whole size up on US size. So for me, I'm generally a UK size 8.5, size 9.5 BR Officer shoes, and size 9 BR / Lone Wolf boots. I hope this makes sense. Very expensive lesson that was, so anyone else thinking of ordering, please note.

BTW, anyone know how to get hold of replacement BR sole and heel units please? I think I'll e-mail Eastman and see if they are able to get, but if anyone has a tried and tested route it would be appreciated.

Cheers all.

Thanks, Stanier, you got it .... perfect. :D

Sizing info is good to know, so for me BR/Lone Wolf, and Red Wing GT, all match size for size.

Oh yeah, spare parts ... I need long laces for the Lone Wolfs.

Welcome to the Vintage Leather Jacket Forum. It looks like you responded to a posting going back to 2009. We generally discuss vintage and wartime leather jackets and to a lesser degree clothing from those periods and beyond. However sports bra's don't usually get a big response......although I think in this case you might. :)
