on my way out to see my oldest (senior in high school) Fall orchestra performance. plays violin.
Wearing an Eastman Leather Co. RoughWear 42-1401P A-2 with a vintage 1940s wool officers tie.
Temps have been up and down but the past couple of days the humidity was really low with temps upper 40s in the morning with it getting no higher than 70 degrees by late day so: "Leather Weather"!

I like the 1401p, it is a good fit.

The temperature here in Ireland has been up and down like a yo yo. In the past week I've worn my CVC jacket, M-65, M-41 and tonight I broke out the N-1 for the first time since last Winter.

I'm hoping it'll get cold soon, I built up a small collection of sheepskins this year and I want to wear one or two.

You want to move here. I just went outside to get a few things out of the boot of the car and it's -2 Celsius. And that's mild for here this late in autumn and over night.

But snow tomorrow ;)

There hasn’t been snow in Ireland for years, when I was a kid it snowed for a few weeks every year, but no more. There is the theory that global warming will eventually cut off the North Atlantic Drift, so we’ll have the same climate as Alaska and the likes. Wahoo!

It bloody buckets down with the stuff from any time starting from now here. My 6 year old daughter is already pestering me about getting her skis out, but she's right, she'll be able to ski to school probably in the next week or two.

Temps have dropped a bit in Northern Florida , at least for this week.. A-2 is doing a good job of keeping the chill off until it heats up in the afternoon.

Temperature shot up today to 5 so today's expected snowfall turned into a torrential downpour all day. I used my Aero FQHH Barnstormer which I tend to when it's soggy and it performed admirably as always.

Sorry no photos but I do promise to pull my finger out and attempt to take some over the weekend.

There aren't enough photos on this thread!

My new Aero Bootlegger. I know we tend to post photos of flight jackets but this is based off a 1920s flight jacket. I'm sure Ken won't mind!

It has been said Edward that difficulties illuminate existence, but they must be fresh and of high quality. Your A-2s all look terrific. Whatever color trousers you are wearing may influence your decision. Khaki pants with seal jacket etc. etc. And yeah, an officers crusher cap would be more apropos.

finally really cold here today - woo hoo!!!!

it was my SM Wholesale 1st pattern tanker!

What is the SM Wholesale stuff like CBI? I've had a poke around their site several times in the past and thought their A-2s look very good for the price.
