Is this Oldin-Dennis B-10 a real Buzz Rickson?

This was listed as a Buzz Rickson repro, and from what I've gathered BR did a run of Oldin-Dennis contractor B-10's around 2001. However, the pockets and lining look different between this one and images of Oldin-Dennis BR B-10's I've found online. The color of the fabric also looks a little on the lighter side of OD. I'm far from an expert and would appreciate your commentary.

I also apologize for the image sizing, as I haven't quite mastered that art!

Evan

EDIT: Upon closer inspection I realized this is in the wrong category. Mods, please feel free to move it to the correct one.

Could just be the camera pictures ,most people do not know how to set up there digital cameras for the different light sources . Then they cut and past and alter the color and then your thrown off . If the labels look the same it is the same jacket !.

And too me. I was amused by the anti moth damage label and all the damage to the shell! Of course it might not be moth damage.

What on earth is that damage on the front and the back of the right elbow?! Can it be moth damage?

Once it's fixed up it'll be fine but I'd love to know what happened.

Check out my thread that features better pictures of the damage -- trying to figure out how goofy it would look on the street! Your opinion would be much appreciated.
As for the damage, I have no clue as to how it got there. Maybe some kind of accident at the factory?

Hi Evan, I saw the pics in the other thread and it'll look fine once you repair it. I'm just scratching my head how it happened.

If it was me fix it up and wear the hell out of it. I'd also consider patching it with name patch and squadron/group patch, that can take away attention from any damage.

I wouldn't fuss it too much, once it's stitched up and that knit is replaced it'll look fine.

I have one of those - a special run from around 2002 I think. Its not cotton but a rayon/cotton blend they called end-zone twill. The color in the photos is off too. On mine the shell/knits are very close, and the collar is slightly lighter reddish brown (darker than the standard Buzz B-10). Also fits bigger than other Buzz jackets of the same size.

Thanks for the info everyone. Since I'm on the smaller side of 36 I think I'm going to pass on this one and wait for my next chance. If you have anything in 34 or 36 let me know!

Being the size you are you should be able to easily get something Japanese and/or from one of the many Japanese sites. Your chest size puts you right in the sweet spot for popular Japanese sizing.

I'm fine with good, honest wear but brand new is excellent of course:)
I don't mind imperfections but not looking to fix one up that needs a lot of repairs.
Thanks for all the help guys!
