Welcome aboard ,yes you need a lot of help with jacket information and with this jacket .But please do not ask for valuations it upsets certain people . I can not evaluate this Jacket as it is out of my expertise as much as I would love to . Also the pictures could be a little brighter .Does it by chance have European silk map lining inside . You have been collecting jackets a long time I take it , we have people who will be along shortly to give there opinion they have been collecting for years .

Hi Danny so it does not have a map lining to bad . I surprised Andrew was not more helpful ? . Well some one will be able to help , I will say this is post 1954 so its after WW2 and Korea any paintings on the back does it have stich marks from where patches used to be ,any names or serial #s written inside .

I found plenty of jackets by the this company on Google. It is a modern civilian jacket no earlier than the 1970s and most likely made in the 1980s/90s. What more do you want to know?

So the label is not legit !? There are no stiches of where patches have been. The jacket do got a couple of numbers on it .
The back got cap.n.225-54-01 and says Squad Leader .

I found similar ones and plenty by this maker which I'm sure you can find for yourself on the net. The firm was established in 1954 and hence the date on the label.

It certainly isn't a military issued jacket. There was a 1950's US Navy G-1 flight jacket with the designation 7823 (AER), but it was a goatskin leather jacket and it didn't look anything like that one.
