Glad you are back Paul. Yes I enjoyed restoring the jacket and researching the vet.

True. His regular latest claim is that he is selling each jacket for a friend. How many friends does he have?;)

From our showroom The two jackets in the top left hand corner are both Aero with civvy labels, the A-2 is lovely, the design of the black jacket shows why the company folded!!!!

I am sure he has a few friends here. Not the first time he has sold stuff belonging to VLJ members.
I should add that I did not sell the A2 to this guy, but somehow he has acquired it. It will be interesting to see what is sells for.

Yup, quite a few jackets he sold have in the past been seen on VLJ, sometimes being put up for sale over here, and a year or more later turning up at his shop.

Peculiar is that he often sizes his jackets 1 or 2 sizes too small. His measurements are ok, but where we would call it a tight 46, he'll call it a 42.

People who bought with him will have run into a bargain quite often, he also sells GW quite often, Eastman, and the odd BK.

Looks like he has another batch of interesting jackets listed now.

£321 was quite a lot less than I sold if for several years ago. I notice that generally this seller's jackets rarely fetch the prices of many other sellers. The quality of the photos plus the almost identical descriptions can't help.

Andrew did you stitch by hand or machine? very neat job for such an old wrinkly jacket. This is the first time I learned that this white silky civilian label that Aero Scotland used to use is actually a copy of an actual vintage label! I thought Aero Transatlantic created it. Learned something new today!
