New Capeskin Options @ Headwind

Here are some images of our new Antique Mahogany Capeskin. It is a more dull and darker shade of brown with subtle darker undertones and more grain than the Russet Capeskin. It is a chrome tanned 2.5oz hide, a bit thinner than the Russet which is 3oz. This hide will be an option on our A-1, A-1 Racer and 37J1 jackets. The photos show the hides in some different light conditions. The new Antique Mahogany 2.5oz Capeskin is on the left, the Russet 3oz Capeskin is on the right:

We have a few jackets in the works right now in the Antique Mahogany so it won't be too long!

Ok, it's been a lil bit, was there a unforeseen delay on the manufacture of the mahogany A-1s, is everyone alright?

From what I know Jay had a delay receiving new knits. My jacket should be ready in about 2 weeks time.

Well, it hasn't happened YET. Another 2 weeks delay (without shipping time). :-(

The best things in life are worth waiting for, or is the aphorism more attuned to... the best things in life are free.

Well, the best things are free but the second best things are so damn expensive ;)

My wife has a new A-1 with this cape and it is really nice, the hide is butter soft and needs no break in. For the price we got a custom jacket and Jay always makes things right for the customer.
